A fresh screenshot or OG card is 1 render. Videos are more compute-intensive, so they cost 1 credit per 2 seconds (a 10-second video = 5). Repeat requests with identical parameters are served from cache — those return in milliseconds and don’t consume your quota.
Render requests return a 429 monthly_quota_exceeded error until your quota resets. On a paid plan that happens on your billing anniversary — subscribe on the 18th and it resets on the 18th, not the 1st. On the Free plan it resets on the 1st (UTC). Upgrading takes effect immediately, so you can unblock yourself anytime.
No. Sign up, create a key, and you have 100 renders a month for as long as you like. Paid plans are handled by Stripe when you’re ready.
Yes — billing is self-serve through the Stripe customer portal. Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel in a couple of clicks; no emails required.
Free: 10 requests/minute. Starter: 60/minute. Pro: 300/minute. Limits apply per account in fixed one-minute windows — creating extra API keys does not raise them — and 429 responses include a reset_at timestamp. There is also a cap on simultaneous in-flight renders: 1 on Free, 3 on Starter, 6 on Pro.
